A simple steel bracket is attached to the trunk that does not change the height of the footlocker. The wheels are instantly popped on. They remove just as easily with a simple tug. Even better is the fact that the wheels pop on and off without the use of tool. These large, 4″ PVC wheels can handle any rough camp terrain. Once in the cabin take the wheels and store them away until it’s time to head home. Slide your footlocker under the bunk or place it at the foot of your bed. Kids with footlockers loaded up for a lengthy stay at camp will really appreciate the Wheel Away™ System. We even include a cinch sack for safely storing your wheels until it’s time to pack up.
